About the Artist
Creative Practice
I am a non binary queer artist, working predominantly in fiber and painting. My practice embodies emotional experiences that I find significant to my personhood. Most often these experiences are related to trauma, abuse, memory, healing, and love. Usually my stories are told in narrative paintings, often using manipulation of self depiction as a tool . These uses of self integrate my identity and the experiences that have shaped it, demonstrating the deeply personal nature of my works.
